Curtis Cardwell, 89, of Calabash, NC passed away May 20, 2026. He was born in New Midway, West Virginia and worked at the Daniels Company as a foreman for over 40 years. He retired to Calabash in 2002 where he enjoyed reading, visiting neighbors and walking in the woods.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Louise Cardwell, as well as 6 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucille Cardwell; his daughters Pam Cardwell and Rebecca (Mike) Meadows; his grandchildren Summer (Andrew) Ellis and Autumn Meadows; and one great granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth Ellis.
A private family service will be held to honor Curtis at Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton, West Virginia.
