Mr. Cole was born in Hickory, North Carolina on September 18, 2022 and was the son of the late Albert and Alleen Cattat Cole. He worked in the Hosiery Mill for many years as a Maintenance Technician.
He is survived by his wife Harriet Scott Cole of Shallotte; 3 step-sons, John D. Lapcevich, Richard A Lapcevich (Kathy), and Kenneth A Lapcevich; 3 nephews, John Cole, Scott Cole, Bret Cole; 2 grandchildren, Jessie James Lapcevich and Kasey Lynn Lapcevich and 4 great-grandchildren.
In respect of his wishes no service will be held at this time.
