Jerry was born April 27, 1950 in Alamance County, North Carolina, son of the late Julius Caesar Coble, Jr. and Edith Clayton Coble. In 1968 he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He was a devoted son, father and grandfather who adored spending time with his family. He had a large personality and was full of life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Parker.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Nora Carter Coble; children, Stephanie Dyan Roberts of Mississippi, Ryan Douglas Coble and wife Lindsay of Ocean Isle Beach, Kristdel Coble Vestal and husband Ben of Ocean Isle Beach, and Matthew Jordan Coble; grandchildren, Hunter, Camden, Brooklyn, Bodhi, and Valor; and his canine companion Bloodbath and Youngblood;
