Mr. Lockamy was born in Brunswick County on December 6, 1944 and was the son of the late George Lockamy Sr. and Ruby Watts Lockamy Arnold. He was a longtime shrimper and dredge boater.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Lockamy; five children, Annette Lockamy, Teresa Lockamy, Keith Lockamy, Robin Lockamy all of Shallotte and Matthew Cruce of Supply; grandchildren, Blake Cruce, Bonni Cruce, Junior Lockamy, Mariam Cruce; a brother, George “Buddy” Lockamy Jr. of Bolivia; three sisters, Princess Robinson of Supply, Mary Jane Greene of Candor, Nellie Maultsby of Winnabow.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 12, 2017 at three o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral Service Chapel, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte with Reverend Bobby Norton officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six o’clock until eight o’clock at the funeral home.
