Joyce Holden Robinson

Mrs. Robinson was born June 16, 1932 in Brunswick County, daughter of the late Richard Holden and Sadie Rabon Holden. She graduated from Shallotte High School in 1950 and married the love of her life, Carvin Robinson in January 1951. They made their home in Supply and raised a family there. She and her husband opened Causeway Gift Shop around 1966 and it later became known as Robinson's Variety until finally changing the name to Robinson's Hardware as it is known now. Mrs. Joyce was a member of Gospel Center Baptist Church where she served as church treasurer for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carvin Robinson and all her siblings.

Survivors include her children, Herbie Robinson and wife Linda of Supply and Sarah Holbrooks and husband Gary of Bolivia; six grandchildren, Angie Holbrooks, Amy Causey, Caleb Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Clay Robinson, and Jason Holbrooks; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Gospel Center Baptist Church with Reverend Jared Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in Gospel Center Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Clay Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Cody Fields, Gary Holbrooks, Tim White, and Eddie Galloway.
