Kathryn Lee Fowler

Kathryn (Kathy) Daniels Fowler, age 69 of Sunset Beach, North Carolina and formerly a long time resident of the Boston MA area passed away peacefully on August 8, 2016 following a brief illness. In her final days, Kathy spent time reminiscing with her sisters Judi Daniels Sullivan and Susan Daniels Legacki, her brother-in-law Tom Sullivan and her dear friends Paula Pirrello and Sandy DuPree.

She has gone to join her husband Edward J. Fowler, who predeceased her in 2001. She was also predeceased by her parents, Spike and Bernice Daniels in 1989 and 2009 respectively. She is also survived by her special sister Denise Daniels of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and her beloved rescue dog Melina, who was always by her side. Additionally, she is survived by her brother-in-law Ken Legacki, nieces Caitlin Legacki, Shannon Rose Sullivan and her nephews Dan Legacki (Kaitlyn), Matthew Legacki, and Tom Sullivan.

Kathy realized her long-time dream following her career as a registered nurse in the Boston area when she was able to relocate to Sunset Beach. She loved her life there the past two and a half years and was so very happy to finally escape the harsh and tiresome New England winters. Kathy was a kind and generous soul and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. May God Bless you, Miss Kathy. “Only the good times now…..”

Anyone wishing to remember Kathy is encouraged to make a donation to their local humane society or rescue shelter. She loved doggies all her life – hers and anyone else’s! A private family memorial and celebration will be held according to her wishes at Blue Lake in Mecosta, Michigan where she vacationed starting in her childhood years and continuing to recent times.
