Pastor Larry D. Milliken

Larry loved fishing, gardening, cooking BBQ (with his famous secret recipe sauce), and socializing with friends and family. He never met a stranger. In his early career, he was a crane operator for Carolina Power & Light (CP&L) and in the latter part of his life, the Pastor of Shell Point Baptist Church, where he served for many years before retirement.

He is remembered as the beloved son of Doris and James “Jimmy” Milliken; husband of Dona “Donnie” Milliken; father of Tiffany Lancaster, Robin Busby, Nicole Milliken-Monte and Joshua Milliken; brother of Kenny Milliken, Tammy Stanley, Sherry Long, Terry Milliken, and Russell Milliken; grandfather of Zachary, Ben, Drew, Julia, Ariella, Jakob, Sammy, Sara, and Stellan; great-grandfather of Asher, Aiden, Aspen, Amyna, and Marshall.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 21, 2025 at twelve noon at Shell Point Baptist Church with Reverend Greg Barefoot and Reverend Landis lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in Shell Point Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday Morning at the church from 11until 11:45 prior to the service.
