Linda Sams Bentley, age 76, of Charlotte Street, Holden Beach, NC and a longtime resident of Arbor Estates in Charlotte NC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 24,2026 with her husband Thomas by her side. She was born on June 23, 1949 in Caldwell County,NC to the late Douglas Curtis Sams and Doris Johns Sams. She is preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Doris Sams.
Those left surviving include her husband of 57 years Thomas of Holden Beach, NC, her sister Laura Sams Sidden and husband Neil of Denver NC, and brother Steven Douglas Sams of Lenoir NC.
