Mary was born May 31, 1926 in Brunswick County, daughter of the late Newman Mintz and Etta Carlisle Mintz. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son and several siblings.
Survivors include her sister Barbara King and husband Billy of Wilmington; nephews, Eddie Bellamy, Jerry King, and Billy “Butch” King; nieces, Etta Gurganus, Angie Barnes, Tammy Bellamy, Joanie Gales, Connie Babson, and Robin Hammond.
Graveside services will be Friday, January 6, 2023 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Mintz Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from one o’clock until two o’clock at the cemetery.
