Mary was born on November 9, 1948 in Hutchinson, Kansas and was the daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Dorothy M. Cross. in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Smith and a brother, Larry Cross.
She is survived by four children, Vickie Shope, Tonya Cross, Robert Powell and Christy Wenthe; grandchildren, Jesse Harrelson, Jackie Frost, Heather Down, Kevin Kniffen, Jennifer Kniffen, Jeremy Doss, Mackenzie Doss, Karley Doss, Isley Harrelson and Freya Harrelson; great grandchildren, Emily Rose Millis and Jessie Marie Millis; three sisters, Karen Casselberry, Margaret A. Johnson and Edna Connard; two nephews, Cecil J. Millis and Woodrow L. Hewett.
A memorial service will be held Friday March 27, 2026 at three o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Lou Ellen White Memorial Chapel.
