Michael was born September 24, 1985 in Asheville, North Carolina. He enjoyed cooking and had worked as a chef at Ocean Isle Fishing Center as well as Wing and Fish in Shallotte. He enjoyed watching hockey games, especially the Carolina Hurricanes. Michael was a loving and caring person who had many loyal friends that will truly miss him.
Survivors include his parents, Terrie Vorrosso, Renae Hixon, Ronnie Hixon, and Ginger Hixon; brothers, David Garland and James Hixon; aunt, Denise Alexander and husband Mark; uncle, Chris Boggie and wife Denise; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 at one o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte.
