Minnie Adams Meadows

Mrs. Meadows was born November 9, 1922 in Winston Salem, North Carolina, daughter of the late Millard and Laura Gant Adams.. Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Herbert Leroy Meadows and eight brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Meadows was a member of The Eastern Star in Winston Salem for many years. She was affiliated with Western Electric which became ATT for 35 years until her retirement. She moved to Holden Beach about fourteen years ago to live with her daughter, Sandra Dillon and made it her home.

Survivors include her son, Herbert Meadows and wife Glenda of Mocksville, North Carolina; daughter, Sandra M. Dillon of Holden Beach, North Carolina; two brothers, Joe Adams and Fred Adams, both of Winston Salem, North Carolina; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Winston Salem.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Avon Breast Cancer Awareness.
