Randy Wayne Rising

Randy was born March 30, 1966, son of the late Gilbert Rising and Pearl Jackson Rising. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of Liberty College. He worked in law enforcement for many years and enjoyed working as SRO officer at Riverside Elementary School. He was last employed at Sunny Point Military Ocean Terminal. He was a devoted Yankees and UNC fan. He was very protective of his family and loved them so much. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his niece Brandy Williams and her children Kendall and Gavin.

Survivors include his loving wife, Wendy Rising; daughters, Courtney Brooke Rising and Olivia Sloane Rising; brothers, Gilbert F. Rising and wife Shirl and Kenneth Rising, Sr. and wife Barbara; four grandchildren, Zamora Rising, Paislee Rising, Jordan Naomi Parker, and Josiah Douglas Parker; nephews, Allen Rising and wife Lana, Larry Rising and wife Maggie, Terry Rising, and Kevin Rising; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Sande Kruszewski; and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 at eleven o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel. Due to Covid-19, face masks and social distancing will be followed.
