

He was born in Manchester, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence and Charlotte Klinedinst. He spent most of his childhood in York, PA along with his three siblings, Carol, Charlie and Eddie. Rob was very active in most sports through the YMCA. He especially loved golf and played until a few weeks before his passing. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in engineering. He spent his life in the construction industry and especially enjoyed estimating. He retired to Lockwood Folly where he enjoyed golf, reading, the beach, playing bridge, and attending St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Scott McArthur, sister, Carol, and brothers Charlie and Edward. He is survived by his wife Mary Allen Reid (48 years), daughter, Karen(Chip) Berry and son, Robert, Jr.(Jennifer), grandsons Paul Berry, Samuel Klinedinst, step granddaughter, Krystal Berry and step great grandchildren, Prestyn and Charlotte Trim as well as many nieces and nephews.
Rob, dad, papa, and grandpa will be greatly missed by family and friends.
There will be a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church, Shallotte, NC or SECU Hospice House.
