Mr. Leonard was born in Brunswick County on February 14, 1950 and was the son of the late Hampton E. and Virginia Holden Leonard.
He is survived by a sister, Wanda Gore of Shallotte; two brothers, Gary Leonard of Supply, Ernie Wade Leonard of Ocean Isle Beach.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 15, 2015 at 2pm at Ocean View Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Brad Hardwick and Reverend Charles Drew officiating. Burial will follow in the Mintz Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home and other times from the home of Wanda Gore, 4250 Todd Rd., Shallotte.
