Mr. Fields was born in Bladen County, NC on February 27, 1956 and was the son of the late Roland Lee Fields and Mable Gause Fields. Mr. Fields was a retired truck driver and an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Fields; five children, Rebecca Skipper of Wilmington, Lisa Long of Old Dock, Johnny White of Shallotte, Nicole Reaves of Delco and Tabatha Norris of Shallotte; a brother, Lloyd Fields of Supply; two sisters, Margaret Skipper of Winnabow and Gail Brittian of Greensboro and fourteen grandchildren.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
