Ryan Curtis Ashley

Ryan was born July 29, 1983 in Apple Creek, OH to Judy Harland. On September 8, 2007, Ryan married the love of his life, Rachel (Martin) Ashley.

Ryan loved to help people and took pride in his ability to master anything he attempted. Ryan loved to cook for his family and friends; seeing a smile on their faces when he served a beautifully plated meal made his day. Ryan enjoyed working around the house and had his own handyman business where he was able to put his multitude of skills to use. Ryan also loved to teach people. From teaching CHL courses in Wooster, OH to showing someone how to paint, how to change the oil in their car, or how to properly install a stereo in a car, Ryan thrived when he was teaching.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are the cousin he claimed as his daughter, Ambie Stephanie Wolf of Wooster, OH; his mother Judy (Tom) Harland of Sunset Beach, NC; siblings Rachel (Bill) Edgar of Shreve, OH; Phill (Molly) Harland of Whiteside, TN; Micah Harland of Brunswick, OH; Hannah (Corbett) Holden of Shallotte, NC; Jacob Harland of Little River, SC; Chloe Harland of Sunset Beach, NC; and Taylor Harland of Canton, OH; maternal grandparents David & Wanda Rohr of Wooster, OH; along with many aunts & uncles and nieces & nephews. Ryan will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

A private celebration of life was held on May 11, 2024.
