William Daniel Hewett

Mr. William Daniel Hewett, 70, of Supply died Wednesday February 25th, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Hewett was born in Brunswick County on October 3, 1944 and was the son of the late Elder B. and Lula Mae Evans Hewett. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Wayne Hewett and Carl Edward Hewett. He retired from Cottrell Engineering. He career with Cottrell was from July 11, 1972 until September 3, 2009.

He is survived by three daughters, Rose Marie Graham (Charles) of Flowermound, Texas, Nordis Hewett Smith (Timmy) of Shallotte, Crystal Hewett Gore (David) of Ash, ; grandchildren, Charles Phelps, Connor Graham, Cameron Graham, Cole Graham, Emily Smith, Miranda Smith, William Smith, Whitney Smith, Roy Gore, Jaycie Gore; four brothers, Thurman Hewett (Helen), Kindle Hewett (Anne), Charles Hewett, Rocky Hewett all of Supply; two sisters, Ilene Simmons (Don) of Supply, Judy Hewett Foster (Jerry Rivenbark) of Bolivia.

Funeral services will be held Sunday March 1st, 2015 at 2pm at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel, 3660 Express Dr., Shallotte with Pastor Lucas Grainger and Pastor Jack Edge Officiating. Burial will follow in the Hewett Family Cemetery, Lula Trail, Supply.

Pallbearers will be, John Kevin Watts, Roy Dale Simmons, Jammie Wayne Simmons, Jimmy Lane Simmons, Spencer Grant Robinson, Christopher Earl Caison.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening at the funeral Home from 6-8 pm.
