Donald E. Gilker

Donald E. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine Gilker (nee Voss), died peacefully on Sept. 8, 2012 at home, surrounded by family, after a short battle with cancer. Donald was a veteran of the USMC and served over seas during WWII. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 40 yrs. Donald is survived by his son Jeff (Barb) and daughters Diana (Bill), Debbie (Gary), Linda and son-in-law John. Devoted grandpa of Joshua, Stephanie (Derek), Jeanette, Justin (Stephanie), Amanda (Robert), Melanie, Madeline (Cortez), Rebecca, Jacinta, Christina, Zachary, Christopher, Veronica, Anna, Angela, Jared, David, and Ashley. Great-grandpa of Dillon, Olivia, Chase, Chloe, Tyler, Lucus, Evelyn, and Zander. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 6-8PM at the Schmidt-Dhonau-Kucner Funeral Home, 10980 Reading Rd., Sharonville. Mass of requiem will be Thursday, Sept. 13 at 10:45AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 Robertson Ave., Norwood, OH. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund.
