James Henry “Tim” Prigge passed away peacefully at age 95 surrounded by family on November 22, 2017 in Milford, OH.
Born to Henry and Josephine Prigge on September 24, 1922 in Superior, WI, Tim served in the US Army’s Signal Corps during WWII in the Philippines and New Guinea.
Tim is preceded in death by his first wife Tilaine Yanda, with whom he had two children, Barb and Chuck. After her death he married Theresa “Thea” Yonker, and they had a daughter, Mary.
Together, they raised their three children in Superior, WI, and relocated to Sun City Center, FL, after his retirement. In 2011, Tim and Thea moved to the SEM Retirement Communities in Milford, OH.
Tim loved many things - most of all, his family, as well as fishing, berry-picking, ice cream, swimming and playing billiards.
He is deeply missed by his children, Barb Prigge, Chuck (Michele) Prigge, Mary (Han) van der Loo and his two grandsons, Chris and Michael van der Loo.
Our family is very grateful for the care provided by the wonderful staff at SEM Haven Health Care for so many years.
