Nick was one of the most unique individuals I've ever met.  He was a quiet sort but knew his business.  He was not only a fisherman, but the best out there.  He was a pure & natural man.  I've loved the Collopy family all of my life and will continue being a part of theirs.  God decided it was time for Nick to come home.  We can't stop it from happening.  But know this, God needed him for stuff in His realm and I'll bet if God has fishing ponds that Nick is having a blast waiting for his family to join him.  My prayers remain with Michelle, Chris, Andrea, Dana and all of the family.  To Nick's mom - if God needed him for stuff up there, it is an honor that He would pick Nick.  You can be sure of that.  Love to all of the Collopy family, extended family and friends.   And know that our God continues to be with you every day.

Such a sad day at the funeral home to see Nick off...not sure if correct way to say it.  My heart goes out to Michelle and the girls and Chris.  You can't replace a loved husband & father. Very sorry to hear about the loss of Michelle's husband.  Saying lots of prayers for Michelle and her family during this difficult time.

I love you dad. I hope you know that we have always appreciated everything you have done for us. You showed us what a man should be like. I never quite understood you until now... You were different than most dads but I would never in my life ask for something else. You took care of your family no matter what it took dad. We saw that and we should have thanked you more. I should have hugged you and told you I loved you more. We are gonna take care of mom for you. We will protect her and take care of the house for her. You left too early and I will always wish you were here with us dad. Your family was the most important thing to you, and it is for me too.. It always has been. I've always looked like mom but You gave me my big nose and my long toes, my sense of humor and my stubbornness. I'll miss the goofy way you cut your own hair, the way you made mom laugh, the way you played with Lola, and the way you always took care of us. I'm devasted that you are gone but I am happy you are pain-free and happy in heaven with your baby. I love you dad.
