Bradley was born to Glen and Linda (Page) Hasenstein, August 12, 1976, in Sheboygan, WI. He graduated from North High School in 1995 and received an associate’s degree as an Electro-Mechanical Technician from Lakeshore Technical College in 1997. He was employed as a Controls Technician at Johnsonville Foods. He married Amy Meyer in 2002.
Brad had a diverse background of his employment through his life. He worked at Luedke’s Meat Market doing various jobs behind the counter and serving customers and cutting meat. When Luedke’s closed he moved to Kohler Company starting as a handyman on the Hermann Line getting promoted to a Mechanic and eventually to an Electrician in the Engines Division where he began his legacy learning Programmable Logic Controller code. Brad moved to Lakeside Foods in Belgium, WI where he used his skills developing automation in a self-heating coffee can line as well as the vegetable canning plant. Most notably he designed and programmed a water reclamation system that significantly reduced water usage for the plant. Brad used his experience to land his dream job of being a Controls Technician with Johnsonville Sausage. He was mentored to excel at this position advancing not only Johnsonville’s equipment but their Maintenance and Production members as well.
Brad pioneered the outdoors for his family, mentoring sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends especially in the areas of deer hunting and fishing. He thoroughly enjoyed Great Lakes Salmon fishing and made sure all who came along enjoyed the experience. He was recently introduced to snowmobiling in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he enjoyed carving through deep snow and jumping snowdrifts in the woods. He loved to spend time with his family, always sharing his hobbies and time with them. Most of all he loved his children, being very involved in their lives as a soccer coach and always bringing them on outdoor adventures. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and love he had for his family and friends.
Brad was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
