Dorothy Buechler

Dorothy was born June 18, 1930 in Sheboygan to John and Ethel (Ostrander) Hermann. She attended Holy Name Catholic School.

On January 27, 1950 Dorothy and Michael Buechler were united in marriage at Holy Name Catholic Church. Michael preceded her in death on May 15, 1979.

Dorothy was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Parish.

For a number of years she was employed at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.

Dorothy was a wonderful homemaker for her family and also enjoyed working outside and attending her garden.

She is survived by her children, Michael (fiancée, Linda Wagner) Buechler of Sheboygan, Mary (Tom) Nelesen of Kalispell, Montana, and Terri (Michael) Gruenwald of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Julie, Laurie, Todd, Ted, and Tony; seven great-grandchildren; her very special dear friend, Midge, and her great neighbors, Paul and Kathy.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

In honoring Dorothy’s wishes, private family services will be held.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
