

Edmund was born August 11, 1931 in Sheboygan to Edmund and Mary (Savrsnik) Federer.
He graduated from Holy Name Grade School in 1947 and later attended and graduated from North High School, Class of 1951.
On February 27, 1954 Edmund and Edith Levan were united in marriage in the Holy Name Rectory.
Pickle worked for Polarware Co. for 27 years and retired in 1982.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Pickle enjoyed time with his friends and loved to polka and play bingo with Edith. Edmund enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers and occasionally, Dancing With The Stars. Pickle was an accomplished accordion player and could play any tune by ear. He enjoyed using his hands, whether to improve his home or work on cars.
Pickle is survived by his wife, Edith; a daughter, Debbie Federer; a son, Tim (Sara) Federer, all of Sheboygan Falls; his beloved grandchildren, Sydney and Reid; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Edmund was preceded in death by a son, Edmund Federer III; and an infant brother, Wayne.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Fr. Phil Reifenberg will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
Pickle will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who was always ready to help those in need.
