Edward C. Beeck

Eddie was born January 12, 1943 in Sheboygan Falls to Arthur and Elenora (Becher) Beeck. He attended Prange Grade School and Sheboygan Falls High School.

On February 13, 1965 he married Shirley Koss at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Sheboygan Falls.

Throughout his working career he was employed at Great Lakes Homes and then for the Kohler Co., retiring in 2004, after 40 years.

Eddie was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and the Moose Lodge.

In addition to Shirley, his loving wife of 46 years, survivors include three children, including two sons, Brian (Susie) Beeck and their daughters, Allison and Erin; Steve (Kim) Beeck and their children, Karlie, Tyler and Julia all of Sheboygan Falls; daughter, Tami (Mike) Prunick and their children, Amber and Mason of Sheboygan; two sisters, Vivian Kachur and Beverly (Allen) Rohde all of Sheboygan Falls; a brother, Romy (Rose) Beeck of Plymouth; a brother-in-law, Michael (Sharon) Koss of Ramsey, MN; sisters-in-law, Susi (Ralph) Thomas of Newbern, TN and Jean Koss of Sheboygan. Eddie is further survived by many nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur; mother, Elenora Beeck Kasten; brothers-in-law, Art Kacher and Richard Koss; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leo (Virginia) Koss Udovich.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. Elizabeth Jaeger, Pastor of St. Luke Lutheran Church, will officiate. Entombment will take place in Gardens of Peace Mausoleum. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Chapels on Wednesday from 4 – 7 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Eddie will always be remembered for his good nature and for his walks and conversations in his neighborhood, where he became affectionately known as the “Mayor of Lenz Ct.”
