

Jack was born July 30, 1937 in Stanley, Wisconsin to Oliver and Myrtle (Brandsness) Sneen. He was a graduate of Stanley High School, Class of 1955. He then served his country by enlisting in the US Navy for two years.
Jack moved to Sheboygan and began employment at Kohler Co., retiring as a foreman of the pottery department in 2000 after forty years.
On June 27, 1959 Jack and Carole Gerlach were united in marriage at St. John’s United Church of Christ.
Jack was a faithful member of St. John’s United of Christ where he participated in many church activities. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club, the Kohler Archery Club and the Farmer’s and Sportmen’s Club.
Jack enjoyed riding his bicycle throughout the area and camping with family and friends over the years. He also liked to pitch horsehoes with his friends. His greatest enjoyment in life, however, was spending wonderful times with his family.
In addition to his wife, Carole, he is survived by his children, Michael (Tori) Brott, Randy Brott, Bruce Sneen, and Laurie Sneen all of Sheboygan; seven grandchildren, Timothy Brott, Michelle (Kraig) Schleusner, Kathryn Brott, Michael Brott, Jasmine Sneen, Johnny Sneen, and Ian Sneen; one brother, James (Louise) Sneen of Eau Claire; three sisters, Sharon (Kenneth) Seufzer of Eau Claire, Marilyn (Phillip) Storrs of Beaver Dam and Carol (Glenn) Aumann of Houston, TX; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Sneen and his sister, Dorothy Tollefson.
A Memorial Service in Celebration of Jack’s life will be held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ. Rev. Gregory S. Whelton, Pastor, will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Valor. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m.until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
Jack’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses from Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, especially Tonia Miske RN, for their kindness and support in his last few days.
Jack will always be remembered for his humor, his laugh and his sneakiness.
He wasn’t named Sneaky Sneen for nothin’. He will be dearly missed.
