Wayne Edward Campbell

Wayne Edward Campbell, 78, of Shenandoah, passed away on December 22, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 18, 1937 and was the son of the late Ervy Lee and Martha Virginia Higgs Campbell. Wayne was a bricklayer for many years and worked for Charlie’s Backhoe Service before retiring. He is survived by a daughter, Darlene Sawyer; step-sons, Dale Courtney and wife, Missy, and James Courtney and wife, Darla; step-daughters, Anna Housden and Debbie Knot; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy and Donnie Campbell. His wife, Charlene Breeden Campbell; a daughter June “Cookie” Campbell; a step-daughter, Wanda Henderson Good; and a great great-grandchild, Andrew Courtney preceded him in death.
