Betty Ann Ryan age 80 of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Mrs. Ryan was a retiree of Jim Beam Distillery after 39 years of service. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Star of Hope), and a member of First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Bessie Satterly; husband, James Ryan; 1 brother and 3 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Judy Sellinger, Bill Ryan (Laurie), Jack Ryan, Joe Ryan (Kathy); 2 grandchildren, Matthew Ryan (Alicia), Brandi Forman (Mike); 3 great grandchildren Lysander Ryan and Harley and Selina Forman; brother, Ray Satterly; sisters, Margaret Lee, Elsie Rucker, Mary Jo Dorsey and Sue Doughty and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 am on Monday in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington.
