Betty Barnes, age 98 of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Minnie (Wells) Maddox, son, William Barnes and daughter, Brenda Barnes.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Sherry Russell (Mike) and Janie Thomson; sons, Robert Barnes (Sheila) and John Johnson and a host of other family and friends.
Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville in charge of arrangements where the family chose cremation.
