Brenda Joyce Davis

   Brenda Joyce Davis, age 73 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 5, 2020. Known as “Nanny” to many children over the years, Brenda was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Louisville and an avid University of Kentucky fan. She loved her church and was a fan of the soap-opera, “Days of Our Lives”.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian (Ramey) Wyatt; ex-husband, Alan Davis; brother, Billy Don Wyatt and brother-in-law, Willie Tindal.

   She leaves to cherish her memory her son; Jeff Davis; daughters, Debbie Davis, Tammy Pryor (Perry) and Tracy Fluhr (Russell); 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Vickie Tindal; brother, Johnny Ray Wyatt (Barbara); sister-in-law, Josie Wyatt; her 4 legged “fur-baby” Bear as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Saturday October 10, 2020 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 4 pm until 7 pm on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
