Cox I, Charles R. 88 of South Louisville entered eternal life May 16, 2015 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a Master Carpenter, Mason of Plum Lodge, Navy Veteran, and survivor of Pearl Harbor. Mr. Cox leaves to cherish his memory wife, Betty Jackson-Cox; son, Charles R. Cox II; daughters, Elizabeth & Billy Phelps; Beverly Hardaway; sister, Neillie Gambrell; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 11am Wednesday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 - 8pm Tuesday and after 9am Wednesday until time of service.
