Charles Duane Redmon

  Charles “Duane” Redmon, age 61 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at home with his loving wife by his side. Duane was born in Louisville, on Wednesday, April 17, 1963, to the late Charles and Crystal Redmon.

  Duane enjoyed his job as a tow truck driver. He loved to ride his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those that loved him.

  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Justin Redmon, and brothers, David and Rocky Dale Redmon.

  He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rita Mae Redmon; his son, Jeff Linehan; his daughter, Brandi Redmon Layport; his grandson, Jeffrey Linehan; a brother, Tony Redmon (Shannon); sisters, Tammie Redmon (Rick), and Loretta Blair (Ricky); sister-in-law, Rose Redmon, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

  The family of Mr. Redmon has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home, and to honor the final wishes of Mr. Redmon cremation was chosen.
