Chrystal Gayle Johnson

  Chrystal Gayle Johnson, age 37, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 13, 2023. She was born in Louisville, on Tuesday, August 20, 1985, to Timothy and Debra Johnson Sr. She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Johnson Sr. She had a smile that could light up the room and melt your heart. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She loved working with children, especially her nieces and nephews. Her smile and love for others will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

  Chrystal was a selfless and giving person. Even in death she was able to help others by being able to donate her organs and tissue to, Kentucky Organ Donor Association. 

  She is survived by her loving family; her mother, Debra Settle Johnson; fiancé, Michael Knight; brother, Tim (Ashley); sister, Amber; grandmother, Jenny; nieces, Alexis, and Allie; nephews, Jaxon, Dylan, Nathan, Jesse, and Josh; best friend, Cassie; fur baby, Juju; and a host of family and friends.

  The family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home with cremation services. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at  the Hillview Recreation Center (298 Prairie Drive, Louisville) from 1pm-6pm.
