Darrell Eugene Jackson, age 86, of Fairfield, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. He was born in Central City, Kentucky on Monday, February 14, 1938, to the late Hershal and Pauline Jackson.
He is also preceded in death by his wife, Sally Ratliff, his children, Sharon Kay Hardison, Darrell Wayne Jackson, Tammy Young and Vickie Swafford.
Darrell was an Army Veteran. He enjoyed working on and painting hotrods.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Debra Newman (Marvin), Theresa Allen and Hunter Jackson; his siblings, Merle Jackson, JD Jackson and Benny Jackson; along with a host of grandchildren.
The Jackson family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home with direct cremation services.
