He was a Christian by faith. Darrell was a self-employed body man that loved working on cars. He enjoyed Sunday drives and spending time with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Avon Watt and grandma Glass.
He is survived by his children, Derrick Watt, Dustin Watt, and Desiree Watt (Anthony), his mother, Betty Watt; brothers, Mike Watt (Charlotte), and Kevin Watt; mother of his children, Phyllis Barnes; grandchildren, Maria, Logan, Layla, AJ, Emma, and DeMar Jr.; best friends, DeMar, and Darryl, along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 6 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their final respects on Wednesday, from 3pm until the time of service at 6pm.
