Edith Ann "Edie" Bell

  Edith Ann ”Edie” Bell, age 83, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father, June 3, 2023 with her entire family by her side. She was born in Louisville, on Sunday, October 8, 1939, to the late Raymond and Beulah Arnett. She was a Baptist by faith. She was selfless, always putting others first. She enjoyed a good meal, especially when you took her to Ponderosa. Even in her sickest moments she always found a way to keep a positive, funny sense humor about her. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

  She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Arnett, and William “Uncle Bill” Arnett.

  She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children; Timothy Arnett Sr. (Sue), Ronald Bell (Marquita), Tammy Gutman (Mike), Jacquelyn Bell (Nicole); her grandchildren, Timothy Jr. (Lisa), Brian (Amanda), Savannah, Sydney (Nathan), Taylor (Dino), Makenzie; her great-grandchildren, Brianna, Flynn, LeiLi, Aulora, Timmy III, Asher, Lillian; her siblings, James Arnett, Melva Garr, Ethel Hawks, Gladys Wolford, and Danny Arnett, along with a host of family and friends. 

  A Celebration of Life will be held June 25, 2023 at Driscoll Estates, 3301 Taylorsville, Ky 40071 from 1pm to 5pm.The family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home with cremation services.
