Edwin Eddie Lee

Edwin “Eddie” Lee age 72, of Mt. Washington, passed away at home on Friday, January 26, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Louisville to the late Shelby and Betty Lee on Thursday, March 22, 1951.

Eddie liked to be outdoors, fishing, boating, and camping. He had a love for music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him. 

He leaves behind his wife, Billie Jean Lee; his children, Tonya Lee Fowler (Ronnie), Eddie Kelley, Heather Kopacz (Jeremy), Cynthia Lee, Andy Lee, and Sherry Shirley; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Linda Knight, Mike Lee (Debbie) and Todd Lee, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, and a host of friends.

The family of Mr. Lee has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, where they have chosen cremation to honor Mr. Lee’s final wishes. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
