George Thomas "Tom" Barrett Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Thomas Barrett Sr.

Tom was a Navy Veteran, a Christian by faith and a Mason. Tom enjoyed cars, fishing, going to the lake house, motorcycles and watching his favorite teams the Louisville Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings. He especially enjoyed his time with his wife, kids and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 32 years, Donna Barrett; his children, Jessica Barrett, and Jason Barrett (Jaclyn); his grandchildren, Emma, Jase and Payton; his brother, Ron Barrett (Erica); his beloved dog, Tucker; along with a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral service will be at 11 am Thursday, July 18, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Horton Chapel Cemetery 925 Union Ridge Road Belton KY. Visitations will be Wednesday 2 pm until 8 pm and Thursday 9 am until the time of service at 11 am.
