James "Jimmy" Nichols

   James “Jimmy” Nichols, age 65 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward “Bud” and Frances “Fran” Nichols and his brother, Steve “Belini” Nichols.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 42 years, Sharon Nichols; sons, Troy Domeck and Brad Nichols (Sonya); grandchildren, Byron Domeck, Xaviar Domeck Liddick and Jameson Blaze Nichols; sisters, Susan Brasch, Kathy Broude and Etta Doughty (Mike); brother, Buddy Nichols (Kelly); sister-in-law, Sandy Nichols; special friends, Jason Cordy and Dawn Powell and a host of other friends and family.

   Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 7 pm in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 4 until the time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
