Joe M. Harper age 54 of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on April 4, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Murl Harper; wife, Lisa Harper. He leave to cherish his memory his mother, Raelene Harper; sisters, Aleatha Price, Debra Sallee several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Friday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church 1305 Mt. Carmel Church Road in Lebanon Junction. Friends may pay their respects from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. at the church on Friday with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
