Daugherty Jr., John Preston 67 of Shepherdsville entered eternal life October 21, 2014 at VA Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents; John P. Daugherty Sr., and Dorothy Daugherty. Mr. Daugherty leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife Donna Daugherty. 7 children; Shanda, Jennifer, Angela, Julie, Jason, Stephanie and Chad, Siblings; Gloria Jean Howerton, Vickie Squires, Tony Daugherty, and Richard Daugherty, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 11am Saturday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 -8pm Friday and after 9 am Saturday until time of service.
