Joseph "Big Tommy" Lucas Sr.

Tommy retired from General Electric and was a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan. He was a very proud man and the rock of his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, and watching TV. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.  

To cherish his memory he leaves his loving wife of 53 years, Ann Lucas; his children, Joseph “Tommy” Lucas Jr. (Lisa) and Eric Lucas (Latrecia); his mother, Betty Riggs; his siblings, Vickie Denney (Harold), Jackie Bindner, Terry Bodytko and Wayne Bodytko (Sandy); his grandchildren, JT (Kayla), Nathanial and Dalton Lucas; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Rielynn and Aiden; along with a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral service will be 6:00 pm Friday, October 18, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Visitations will be on Friday, 2:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
