Kenneth Price

February 24, 2011Kenneth Price, 85, of Shepherdsville, KY reached the end of his earthly journey on Thursday February 24, 2011 at Jewish Hospital. He was an Army Veteran, member of the American Legion, VFW post 5710 and Calvary Hill Separate Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma "Jean" Price; parents, Thomas D. and Arlene Heffley Price; brother, W.T. Price. Survivors include his daughters, Connie (Kenneth) Arlene Daniel, Carrie (George)"Chuck" Darlene Hardin, Emma (Jim) Marie Whiteside and Sarah (Charles) Shay Jones; sister's, Gertie Marie Hatfield, Sarah Evelyn Scott; brother, Charles E. Price. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitations will be 3-8 pm Sunday, 12 pm -8pm Monday and after 9 am Tuesday.
