

Louise M. Blackburn, 71, was born 11-11-49 in Campbellsville, Kentucky. She worked and retired from Fishers Packing Company. She was known for her blunt and straight-to-the-point demeanor. She was also very caring and loving.
She was preceded in death by all of her parents; two husbands, Hillard C. Matthews and Homer T. Blackburn; brothers, Phillip Miller and Lawrence Branham and stepson, Randy Blackburn.
Left to cherish her memory, her long-time companion, Curtis Woosley; her only daughter, Jana Denise Summitt (Ronald); stepsons, Lyndell Blackburn (Pat), Phillip Blackburn (Lil’ Bit) and Darryl Blackburn (Bonnie); stepdaughters, Judy Mullins, Janet Huggins (Eddie), Joyce McCoy and Mitchie Sazbo; grandchildren, Amanda Duree (Jeremy), Matthew Summitt, Sr., Alea Summitt, Lesha Allen, Jenny Belcher (Roger) and Clinton Saul (Kelly); great-grandchildren, Nolan Duree, Matt Summitt, Jr., Connor Summitt, Brittanie Saul, Brooke Sutton, D.J. Kepple, Haley Davis, Robert Belcher, Heather Belcher, Hannah Belcher, Mackenzie Gritton, Matthew Saul, Brooke Saul and a host of more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and life-long friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Thursday, July 29, 2021 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 4 until time of service on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
