Marilyn Rose Koerner

   Marilyn Koerner, age 75 of Valley Station, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 27, 2020.  Marilyn was a retired medical secretary for Norton Healthcare and she and her husband, George, were former members of The Louisville Corvette Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Elma Sutton; husband, George Edward Koerner Jr. and sister in law, Ann Zorn.

   She leaves to cherish her memory her brothers-in-law, Donny Zorn and Pat Koerner (Sandy); sister-in-law, Kathy Bradley (Kenny); nieces, Rhonda Zorn and Cali Morrison (Bryan); nephews, Donny Zorn Jr., Christopher “Kit” Koerner (Martina), Jason Bradley and Scott Bradley (Rhuvie); great nephew, Zachary Coulter; great nieces, Tia Coulter, Bryce Morrison and Portia Morrison and a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 4 pm at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, Kentucky.  A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 11 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.  Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Hardy-Close Funeral Home
