Mia Faye Young

  She is also preceded in death by her son, James “Jimmy” Poledor Jr, and her brother, Sherill Shell. 

  Mia was a Christian by faith. She enjoyed crafts, drawing, being outdoors, her cat Buttercup and especially time with her grandson Jordan. She will be sadly missed by so many who loved her. 

  She leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings, Lloyd Shell and Greg Shell (Cindy); her husband, Mike Young; her grandchildren, Jordan and Gunner Poledor; her stepson, Johnathan Jackson; along with a host of other family and friends. 

  Memorial service will be at 4 pm Sunday, September 29, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville. Visitations will be Sunday 1 pm until the time of service at 4 pm.
