Michael Wayne Johnson

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emma Spalding, Wanda Johnson and Chester Johnson. 

Michael was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and time with his children. Michael will be sadly missed by so many who loved him. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Tony and Lisa Johnson; his children, Jack, Willow and Matthew; his sister, Amanda Heath (Tim); his niece and nephew, Zoe and Eli; his grandparents, Frank Spalding and Pat Johnson; his significant other, Chelsey; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Holy Chapel of God 2357 West Blue Lick Road Shepherdsville. The Johnson family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with cremation services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Peoples Bank under Tony and Lisa Johnson. All donations will be made to his son, Jack Johnson.
