Robert “Tinker” Lewis Riedling Sr. age 71, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born on Tuesday, June 24, 1952, to the late George W. Riedling Jr and Bonnie Callendar Riedling.
He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Stephen Wayne Riedling, and Richard Andre Riedling.
Robert was a Lutheran by faith. Robert was formally of Okolona and enjoyed working on cars, driving his corvette, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Lewis Riedling Jr., and Darrell Riedling (Lawana); his significant other, Patti Joyce Bridwell; his grandchildren, Sydney, Lil D, Lil Tink, Nikki and Opal; along with 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, October 21, 2023 in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitations will be Friday 2 pm until 8 pm and Saturday 9 am until the time of service at 11 am.
