Shawn Kelly Waller

   She was preceded in death by her father, John Fredrick McKenna Jr., along with her grandparents, Jack McKenna, Woody and Shirley Carey, and a step grandmother, Margaret Carey. 

   Kelly loved life and time with her boys. She will be sadly missed. 

   She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 26 years, Richard “Bud” Waller; her sons, Richard Ethan Waller and Bradley Evans Waller; her mother, Theresa Carey McKenna; her grandmother, Mable McKenna; her siblings, Troy McKenna, John McKenna III Shanna), and Keith Robinson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew.   

  Funeral service will be 11 am Thursday, August 3, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Mount Eden Cemetery, visitations will Wednesday, 2 pm until 8 pm and Thursday 9 am until time of service at 11 am.
