Terry Russell Sherrard

Terry Russell Sherrard, age 69, of Middletown, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 21, 2024. He was born in Louisville, KY, on Wednesday June 1, 1955. He was preceded in death by his father, James Sherrard; his son, Sean Sherrard; along with his stepfather, Fred Logsdon.

Terry was a Navy Veteran, a Kentucky Colonel, and a Christian by faith. He loved music, learning new things, spending time with his family and enjoyed fishing, reading, and watching UK football and basketball. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children Jessica Druin (Michael) and Michael Sherrard (Santana); his mother Betty Logsdon; his siblings, Rick Logsdon (Kathy) and Lisa Welch (Hermon); his grandchildren, Sierra, Scarlett, Michael, and Freya; along with nieces, Katie, Marianne, Emily, and Sara, as well as a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:30pm Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, KY, with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky. Visitations will be on Thursday, from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:30pm.
